Why We Built the Feeding Timer App — Our Story and Purpose
A deeply personal journey to build something truly helpful for parents like us.
When our son was born, everything changed. From the first moment we held him, we were overwhelmed with love—and responsibilities. One of the hardest things to keep track of in those early weeks was feeding. Which side did we last use? How long did he feed? Was it enough? When was the last session?
We tried paper logs. We tried generic tracking apps. But none of them felt like they were designed with real, tired, anxious parents in mind. Everything was too complicated, too cluttered, or too impersonal.
That’s when we stopped looking for something that didn’t exist—and started building it ourselves.
Built for Peace of Mind
The mission was simple: help us remember, understand, and feel confident about feeding—without distractions. We wanted something that was:
- Beautiful and calming to look at
- Incredibly fast to use—especially at 3am
- Clear and insightful, without needing to learn anything
Over time, it became more than a tool. It became a quiet companion during long nights, an anchor during growth spurts, and a reliable way to understand our baby’s rhythm.
In fact, one of the first moments of clarity came when we wrote this short blog post — a real reflection from those earliest days. That post reminded us that the smallest signals matter, and that every parent deserves to feel in sync with their baby.
No Data Harvesting. No Distractions.
Our app doesn’t try to sell you things, track your behavior, or gamify parenting. We respect your privacy as much as we respect your time. This is your space—to log, reflect, and care.
That’s why the Breast Feeding Timer app is not just minimal — it’s intentional. Every button exists for a reason. Every screen was built to reduce pressure, not add more.
What Comes Next
As our child grows, so does the app. We're working on features that support each stage of babyhood—but always with the same clarity, calm, and respect. If something doesn’t help you sleep easier or feel more in control, we won’t add it.
Built by parents. For parents. With every heartbeat in mind.
